"Snake boots" is a metaphor and the title of a training program to guide leaders on how to make certain "the snakes" that may come against you don't poison your leadership purpose.

Snake boots aren't made of snake skin.  They're protective boots that keep snake bites from harming you.  In the same way, you can't keep opposition from striking but you can keep it from affecting your mission and purpose.

From my many years in political and public affairs messaging, primarily as a media spokesperson on high-profile campaigns, including about nine years as communications director (a glorified title for press secretary) for a United States Senator...working with outstanding leaders and now training future leaders (since 2008), I've addressed -- often publicly -- tremendous opposition. In fact, there was a time in politics when I fed on it, thrived in it and often invited it.

In this training, I'll share 3 keys that will guide leaders and organizations on how to prepare for serious opposition.

This training is available as a talk/presentation, half-day or full-day training in person or via videoconference.  One-on-one, one-hour sessions with leaders are available afterward to focus on specific questions and concerns.
